The staging presents a Haussmannian apartment with all its codes: the moldings, the gilding, the floor with point de Hongrie…
On that traditional picture comes the golden leaf on both walls and floor as if it invades the space. We find ourselves walking on the gilding making the floor as part of the work of art.
On top of this floor stands 3 headstones acting like sculptures in the center of the room combined with mirrors creating a dreamlike environment through their reflections.
On the walls, we can notice the passage of time without knowing whether the gilding fades in favor of the paint or the opposite.
